Birds at the Dam House 

  One special aspect of living in the Dam House is watching the wildlife throughout the year.  The picture above shows a bluebird and 2 of the cedar waxwings that came to eat multiflora rose hips one January.  We keep track of the birds and animals we see each month.  Between 1996 and September of 2003, we recorded the following 101 bird species:
